Nantucket w/ Polar Bear Blues Band featuring Harvey Arnold
10:00:00 PM - 12:00:00 AM The band called "Nantucket" has entertained hundreds of thousands of people over the last 30 years and have six albums to their credit. They are a group that catches the audiences' attention and keeps it with its versatile lineup of six musicians. The group was formed in 1972 and still has four of the six original members. Nantucket is Larry and Mike Uzzell, Tommy Redd and Eddie Blair.
Untold thousands of Carolina residents grew up with Nantucket's albums and now have families of their own. The sax players rendition of "Shotgun" by Jr. Walker and the All Stars is something that has to be seen live.
From Larry Uzzell's lead vocals, trumpet and harmonica playing to Tommy Redd's amazing humor and song writing, Nantucket doesn't let up for the entire show.
So if you're still wondering.... Yeah this is the same Nantucket that you heard in the seventies and eighties!! Come down and check out a legendary Rock and Roll band in an up close and personnel venue, and let your hair down and and let your feet start slappin' to the classic sounds of "Nantucket". Also opening the night will be "Old Money", veteran musician Walt Metts and Son (Eric)playing classic and alternative rock form the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.
