"Ten Toes Up's current line up has been together for almost a year. Our goal is to play music that we enjoy. Entertaining audiences is an unbelievable feeling but if you don't believe in what you're doing, no one else will either. We started from scratch with extremely diverse backgrounds. From jazz, jam, latin, and pentecostal influences emerged a sound that has been described as a little southern rock, a little jam band, and a lot of heart and soul. Ten Toes Up plays a huge array of covers that both keeps the audience jumping and highlights the bands musical ability. People who come back to our shows again and again say they can tell we are having a good time. Our originals try to tell a story while still keeping people jumping. Our music is influenced by our heroes; The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Hendrix, John Scofield, Phish, Ben Harper, and many more. It's a priviledge to do this kind of work and the response we've received from our first album is incredible" Tonight's Specials: $3 Royal Flush Shots

Some days it may taste traditional and other days it may be a little spicier than usual, but it always tastes good.
They've toured across the country from New York to Miami and from Raleigh to Santa Fe, headlining clubs and sharing the stage with other national acts such as The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, John Bell, George McConnell, Widespread Panic, The Radiators and Umphrey's McGee, to name a few. The members have changed from time to time and the songs that David Titchener (lead singer and primary song writer) wrote may have a different feel from one year to the next…but it is all Waylandsphere and it is all family.Talented musicians from all around have sat in with the band including but not limited to Cecil "P-Nut" Daniels, members of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Melvin Sparks, Bryan Jordan, Johnny Neel, Rob Wasserman, Jess and Cameron form Tishamingo…the list goes on and on.
